BAC WATER
Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water) is sterile, non-pyrogenic water for injection containing 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. It is commonly used in laboratory and clinical research settings for the reconstitution of lyophilized peptides and other compounds prior to analysis or in vitro experimentation.
Due to its antimicrobial properties, BAC Water allows for multiple withdrawals from a single vial under proper sterile conditions, making it ideal for extended use in research protocols.
Each vial contains:
-
3mL sterile water
-
0.9% benzyl alcohol (preservative)
CARE & MAINTENANCE
To ensure maximum potency and shelf life, store all peptides in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat.
Unreconstituted vials are best kept refrigerated at 2–8 °C.
Once reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, peptides must be stored in the refrigerator and used within 90 days.
Always handle vials with clean hands and sterile equipment to prevent contamination. Do not shake the vial—gently swirl to dissolve the powder.
If you notice any discoloration, cloudiness, or clumping, discard the vial immediately.
